I am taking my new Canon EOS1 so you can have as many of the 12mb

I have loads of photos, but Adobe Photoshop is crashing trying to make
the web photo gallery.

I will re-install Photoshop later today and see if I can get it to work.

He he, if your 12mb photos crash your Photoshop, imagine what they'll
do to my PC ... ;-)

 Who calls this summer?
Summer 2010 did finally arrive on Friday and stayed for the whole weekend.
:-)

I enjoyed the long weekend in Austria very much and believe the others did
the same.

While driving back home yesterday afternoon the sky got darker and darker
and just after crossing the border to Switzerland there was a thunderstorm
with lightning and heavy rain.

First few pictures are online. See:
 http://cid-c250d8748980ce5a.profile.live.com/

I've uploaded some 58 more photos.
http://tinyurl.com/ql-vienna-2010-pics

Enjoy watching! ;-)

Many thanks go to Gerhard and his Austrian colleagues for making the meeting
possible.

Urs

BTW: I thought that I'm having a huge collection of QL stuff, but Gerhards
QL collection definitely much, much bigger. Not to mention his other retro
computing and electronics stuff. ;-)

Good photos (and thank you for driving me back to Vienna on Saturday;-) ).

Special thanks to Gerhard to make this happen and all visitors. I really liked
it!

Unfortunately I was only able to show Qemulator for MacOSX on Friday (some
troubles with my Hackintosh-Netbook).

But there will be a small video of the show from me, including Qemulator for
MacOSX in action. Should be ready and on YouTube the next days.

show.

BTW Malcolm, I seem to get 2 copies of your emails to the list

Dilwyn Jones

Yes, maybe I just somehow clicked the mouse button twice ...

Hopefully, this one comes through only once ... as a certain French
Cafe

owner is reputed as saying.

I'm sure he'd find a way to blame the daft British airmen... ;-)

-- Malcolm Cadman

Still two...but I notice that the TO: copy is going to ql-users AT
q-v-d DOT com and the Cc: to ql-users AT lists DOT q-v-d DOT com

So...somewhere along the line a second copy is being generated to a
second and different email address.

Time to ask Bruce if there is any way the list can generate two
separate copies of the original email if you are convinced you are only
sending one, Malcolm?

Is there any chance you might be accidentally subscribed twice in any
way? Perhaps Bruce could look at this?

Dilwyn Jones

Hi Dilwyn,

I think that it was that I sent by Group Reply, rather than just
Reply on recent occasions.

Hence the TO and CC that you have noticed.

However, separately from that, I always receive 2 copies of all emails
from this list, to two different email addresses - my default and the
ql one.

So, maybe it is because I am somehow registered with the server, twice.

Hi Tony,

Have you tried the GIMP ?

The collaborative Project to provide a free Graphic Image ManiPulator.

It is very good ... :-)

Download for the web, or obtain on a Magazine DVD.

Also, of course, IfanView ... another masterful free Graphic Image
program.

In other words, you could give up using Photoshop altogether .

Irfanview.
Indeed I use it all the time but I got phtoshop working.
Irfanview (and probably Gimp) has no automated web page aker.

I have got it!
I cannot do without clone stamp!

Would anyone care to volunteer to write a short pi4ece about the show
