I didn't think we ever argued Dilwyn, do we?

I tried logging in to SourceForge from Windows 7 with IE earlier today.
I think your skin on IE might be the problem. Mine is the default - on
the grounds that it only ever gets used for Windows Update (once in a
blue moon when I actually login) but that's another story. (Windows 7 SP
1 refuses to install. Sigh!)

Anyway, I can see why you are having a wee rant at Sourceforge, it is
abysmal in IE under Windows 7.

Nonetheless, Norman's Q-Stripper program made the entire bad taste
experience of that particular website worthwhile, I'm glad to say - so
we now have 32 bit and 64 bit versions (and Linux) of this program which
is so handy for viewing Quill files, not to mention the ability to
convert them to 3 or 4 other formats. Great work, Norman.
Except, not good enough I'm afraid. Version 1.02 is now uploaded. 1.01
shouldn't be used any more.

I've fixed the horOzontal bug that's been there since time began. It's
one of those words I can never spell.

I've fixed the part where 1.01 always translates a file from PC to QL
character sets. I missed out an IF statement to only do the
translation when the file was opened as a PC file.

I've also fixed SourceForge under Windows 32 bit, and put the exe file
into a folder that includes the version number, so you know what you are
downloading. This might affect the links on your (Dilwyn's) web site.
Apologies for the inconvenience.

Other than that

Cheers,
Norm.

I'm sure if we ever to argue that you would beat me hands down every time.

Yup, tried it with Firefox, where it's much easier. One of these days I'll
see sense and make Firefox the default browser on this system.

Oops, better look into that.
