Re: [ql-users] Micro Peripherals I/F EPROM
Again: the guy, from where I have bought the controller and drive has sent an Eprom hand-marked 5.3 to me and assumed, that this is the original MP Eprom. Is this a possible version number? Cheers...Ralf R. ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm
Re: [ql-users] Micro Peripherals I/F EPROM
Hi Phoebus, Just in case you missed my earlier contribution to this thread, Quanta has a lot of stuff donated by ex QLers (sad) which Rich Mellor and I are hoping to catalogue and make available to anyone who wants a copy - time is short at the moment but it will get done. I can't help you with the items you refer to but keep on asking - we may have something you need. Regards, John Gilpin. - Original Message - From: Phoebus R. Dokos (Φοίβος Ρ. BTW: I have a Cumana disk I/F and an AMDEK 3 Dual Drive if anyone is willing to trade. (the second drive is half-dead but the first one works like a charm - these are the full height 3 drives) - Mind you the AMDEK is heavy and sadly a 110V unit (internally selectable I think to go to 220/240)- I am looking for a Video Digitiser (any kind I think there where two) and/or an ABC Elektronik GigaRAM board. I have other things I'm looking for as well, if anyone has a large collection with doubles I'd be glad to buy/trade with them ;-) I am also looking for original programs in MDV/Disk format for my Archive (yes it is still in the works) Ffibys ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm

I have a SPEM knocking around somewhere here. I also have the Micro Peripherals Disk drives and, possibly, the interface. Re: [ql-users] Micro Peripherals I/F EPROM
Hi Ralf, You may or may not be aware that Quanta collects second user QL equipment and I hope to catalogue what we currently hold in the near future. The purpose of this collection is to help QLers get parts that are no longer readily available and at the same time help Quanta financially with any financial donations which are received for such items. At the QL is 21 workshop, Dilwyn Jones kindly arranged a mini exhibition for us and some of our stock was used to supplement exhibits which Dilwyn had. I remember that we had a single floppy drive from Micro Peripherals which we had to call using fdk1_ instead of flp1_ and I also have a second single floppy drive which I believe was used as fdk2_ by the original user. Since a lot of QLers were not able to attend QL is 21, we have asked Dilwyn if he will repeat his exhibition at the Manchester Workshop and AGM in April 2006. If you are able to attend this workshop (see Quanta Magazine or QLToday for full details) I am sure that these parts could be made available to you in exchange for a donation to Quanta. If not, I feel that the postage and packing ( they are in their original boxes) costs would be quite high as they are fairly heavy items to send by post as are the monitors and printers which we hold in stock. If anyone else out there is looking for a specific QL related item, please get in touch with either myself or Rich Mellor of RWAP Services to see if we can help you. On behalf of Quanta members and committee, may I wish you all a Very Happy New Year, and Happy QLing. Regards, John Gilpin. I have plenty of what I discovered from Ralf are QFLP' eproms - produced by Qjump. If you supplied the FDK eprom to Ralf, I can replace it (FOC) with a QFLP eprom. Re: [ql-users] Micro Peripherals I/F EPROM
@John @Malcolm Thank you both for clarifying. What I just need, is the original MP Eprom. So, if someone can send it to me, it would be good to get an adress, where I can send any payment to. @Tony Thank you for the offer 8^).
