I can not reproduce it :-(
Tried in several Situations, it never happens.

I have just noticed that when one of my accounts does its regular check for new
mail that it is occasionally throwing up the following message:
FETCH - Access violation at address 006C4663 in module 'thebat.exe'. Read of
address . Anyone else noticed this one. It only happens on a few odd
occasions and only on this one account that is with thebat.net

bhsn Followed your advice to the letter. Unfortunately it would not work

I'm not sure if we proceeded alike. I tell you what I did in detail:

First I formatted the new USB stick to the same file system as the old
one, in my case FAT32. Then I ran volumeid.exe (available at
sysinternals.com) and set the volume ID to the same hex number that
the old stick had, in my case -. (You can see your drive's
actual volume ID by typing vol drive letter: at the command
prompt.) Now I copied the complete contents of the old stick to the
new one, and, voilà, Voyager ran as usual without even asking for an
activation key.

Ok, I followed your instructions to the letter. The copied over
non-passworded v4.0.18.4 Voyager runs perfectly.

The problem is now to get this non-passworded version of Voyager
passworded. Let's do a fresh install of v4.0.24.12 and password that,
and then restore the accounts from the previously copied over version.

Installed and passworded, but it will not accept the key that was used
for the original copied over version.

Get another key from Ritlabs, for this version, and it is the
identical key and yet is accepted - but you end up with a trial
version.

Thinking, thinking...

Can not confirm in 4.0.24.11.

I guess that you have some template that is triggering the delivery
confirmation.
