Not directly. I think it can in conjunction with Hamster (mail/news
proxy) if you use XRay to add the relevant headers.

Hello Victor,

 Can TB! handle news:?

No, TB is not a news reader. But there are good solutions with the aid
of third party software. If you take a look at the list archives, my
solution (working flawlessly) is explained in:

   [EMAIL PROTECTED]">mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: Newsgroups with The Bat! and MailTraq
   Date: Sat, 6 Apr 2002

Apparently the archives do not go back much before the current month.
Or I couldn't find how to get into the April archives.

Would it be possible to post your solution here?
Or if it's lengthy, perhaps an e-mail to me and the person who original
posted the question.

Thanks.

FW Or I couldn't find how to get into the April archives.

The link Miguel posted has only use if you have the message in your
local messagebase, since only TB looks for mid: links. In the on-line
list archive you can find the message at:
http://www.mail-archive.com/tbudl@thebat.dutaint.com/msg36819.html
As you could have found by yourself by searching for the subject in
the archive.

Ahhh ... there it is.
And it -is- rather lengthy.

Now to try it out.

Thanks much.
