SETI@home plugin for The Bat?

2004-05-10 Thread Thomas Andersson
Hi list!

I've been using The Bat! for some time now and I love it. Especially
the ability of using macros to create mail signatures.

Does anyone know of a macro that I can use to insert my progress for
[EMAIL PROTECTED] in my mail signature?

Cheers!

Which charset to use?

2004-05-23 Thread Thomas Andersson
Hi list,

I'm wondering which charset to use when composing and sending email.
The default value for all my accounts are set to Latin-9.

I only send messages in swedish and english. Is there a preferred
charset for that?

Created column

2004-05-26 Thread Thomas Andersson
Hi list!

I was just wondering what the created column in the list of mail really mean?
Is it when the mail was created in the senders client? When the
message was created on the senders server? Or perhaps when the message
landed on my server?

Wheater in signature

2004-05-31 Thread Thomas Andersson
Hi list,

On my quest for more useless things to have in my signature I've now
reached the weather... :-)

Anyone know of a program that downloads the actual weather for a
specific city (in my case Malmö, Sweden) to a simple textfile so I can
use it in my signature.

Easy... Temperature Malmö + 10 degress = temperature Spain

Hiding virtual folders

2004-06-03 Thread Thomas Andersson
Hi list,

thank you for all help with finding the %cookie macro. I'll be sure

New question:
Is there a way to hide virtual folders so that they are only visible
in the Virtual-tab and not the all-tab? I have quite a few virtual
folders and I want to make some room for my normal folders.

Replacing icons

My problem is that I can't seem to find the glyphs.bmp file on my

TF Not really. If there is no glyphs.bmp file, TB will use the default.
TF Only if TB finds such a file, the glyphs shown will be taken from
TF that file. So, if you have never used custom glyphs before, you won't
TF have this file. Just download it and place it into the TB directory,
TF restart TB and enjoy.

Easy enough... :-)
That did the trick!

Thanks!

Compressing folders

2004-07-30 Thread Thomas Andersson
Hi list!

I'm just curious of which method of compression is used in The Bat!
when you check the compress folder in folder properties. Is it a
huge spacesaver and does it have a negative impact when using the
program?

I currently use The Bat on a 400Mhz IBM Thinkpad 600E.

VF help needed

2004-08-06 Thread Thomas Andersson
Hello listers!

I've recently switched from a folder/rules-based approach to a
VF-based approach for my main mailaccount. Now to my question:

Is there an easy way to set up a VF that filters out all emails that
doesn't match the search criteria for my other VF:s for that specific
account? Preferably I don't want to change the search criteria for
that folder when adding new VF:s in the future.

Retraining BayesIT from scratch

Hi fladdermöss,

I've recently installed the latest version of BayesIT (0.5.11). Since

Can anyone tell me what files to delete? Should I delete everything
