recCorrect. SoundForge isn’t what you’d call “Music” software. It’s more a 
sound creator/editors suite of tools. The only “Music” creation software that I 
know of for MacOS is ProTools. That’s what is used in most recording studios 
around the world, and, indeed, it is widely used within commercial radio over 
here for production. It exists for MacOS and Windows, although the latter 
platform was a “Port” rather than from the ground up, to try and tap into main 
stream circles several years ago. As I understand it, however, ProTools for 
Windows is still largely inaccessible. I do know people who have had great 
success with ProTools Mac, and use it daily to fulfil their professional 
obligations.

don’t regard Sound Forge as being music software, rather a suite for editing 
and mastering audio.
