[Bug 273859] Re: Apache mod_dav_svn leaking memory
I found another option which works correctly now: I did set 'SVNAllowBulkUpdates Off' in my mod_dav_svn config file and now memory consumption stays normal (450MB with about 10 users) during the whole checkout, even with about 1.6GB data / 6000 files to get (few hours required). Before (default value is On when option is not explicitly set), I could easily get 500MB used after 15mn, if I let the process it would eventually fill up the whole RAM/swap. To summarize, this option will force SVN clients to request only parts of the tree to get, and not the entire tree within one request. Default behavior is to let the client decide which amount of data to get for one request. This could explain why TortoiseSVN 1.6 has different behavior than SVN 1.6 command line version. I indeed only got this memory problem using TortoiseSVN and not with SVN command line. report to subversion team as http://subversion.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=3084 ** Bug watch added: Subversion Issue Tracker #3084 http://subversion.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=3084 -- Apache mod_dav_svn leaking memory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/273859 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 382705] [NEW] docky grouped menu titles are too narrow / truncated
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-do When right-clicking on, for example, the gnome-terminal icon in docky you receive a context list showing all the terminal windows you have open. However, the width of the context menu is far too narrow to show any useful content. For the terminal example, the user is simply presented with a number of 'u...@user-laptop.' entries, with no way of telling one from the other. Standard gnome-panel, when configured to group windows, correctly displays the entire title of all terminals on the context menu. This is especially a problem if the user is using a 96 dpi setting for their monitor properties as even less text is visible. Docky should either have no limit on the width of these menus (dynamically adjusting to fit content), or should dramatically increase the fixed width, or should allow the user to set a preference determining the width. [Bug 382708] [NEW] docky in auto-hide mode only re-appears if user mouses over width of docky panel
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-do With docky auto-hiding enabled, the user must currently move the mouse to the bottom of the screen to cause docky to be un-hidden. However, with current behaviour, the user must actually also have the mouse within the boundary defined by the width of docky when it was previously displayed to successfully trigger un-hiding. In contrast, Dock.app on the mac allows the user to move the mouse to anywhere along the bottom of the screen to cause the dock to be re- displayed. This behaviour would seem to be more intuitive and docky should ideally replicate it. ey teej, i have done what you requested (am running jaunty) just an update. i was copying approximately 220 megabytes of files to a samba server via sshfs and it just stopped at the point where 32.4 megabytes have been transferred. i left it alone for about 20 minutes and when i got back it was still there. i'm trying to confirm if it also happens on an hp compaq nc6320 also running on jaunty. -- Heavy network activity (eg: torrent/nfs file transfers) causes Hard System Locks and/or Network Freezes. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/147464 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 124406] Re: Keyboard keys get stuck and repeat (Feisty, Gutsy)
I added a bug report of my own a while ago, I didn't think with some of the explanations here that my issue was the exact same bug, but its hard to tell with so many people reporting. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input- evdev/+bug/371066 Anyway if it is related, concerning USB this is what I found. My laptop keyboard is on the USB bus, and has the problem. However if I plug in an external USB keyboard it works fine. I've found that depressing 2 keys at the same time doesn't report both most of the time, and will often result in a runaway 'stuck' key. Also if I run xev and do the same xev reports a continuous keypress event with no release when the 'stuck' keys happen. -- Keyboard keys get stuck and repeat (Feisty, Gutsy) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/124406 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
