[Bug 1819543] Re: Does not exit correctly, have to "kill -9
Affects me on Kubuntu 20.04 in multiple machines. If I close the app via the "X" button AND it is playing some media file it gets stuck and I need to give a "killall -9 vlc" command. It closes just fine if I stop the media before closing with the "X" button. If I quit the app with CTRL+Q or with the close command in the "media" menu it exits just fine even if media is playing. Starting the app via command line, panel or by clicking on a file seems to have no effect on this behavior. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1819543 Title: Does not exit correctly, have to "kill -9 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/vlc/+bug/1819543/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 785226] Re: Evolution 2.32.2, NO ACCESS TO MY AGENDA
Answers: 1. Yes, I suppose it is reproducible. 2. Steps are as follows: - Open Evolution 2.32.2 .(my version is in Spanish). - Menu Archivos (Files), click Importar (Import). A new window appears (Evolution import assistant). Click Adelante (Next). - Choose Importar un unico archivo (import one single file). Click Adelante (Next). - Locate the file to import (the file .pst is in my external HD). File type is Outlook personal folders (.pst). Click Adelante (Next). - Destination directory is automatically named Contactos_1. I choose to import only Libreta de direcciones (agenda). Click Adelante (Next). - Then click Aplicar (Apply). And nothing happens. Enclosed, you will find the file that I want to import (please note that this is a confidential file). Thank you in advance for your help and assistance. [Bug 339025] [NEW] latest kernels made generic flash drives stop working
Public bug reported: Some time ago I bought a kingston pen drive that I discovered to be a generic crap, but at least it worked initially. Now appears that with the latest kernels it stopped working. Re: [Bug 157050] Re: octave2.9-forge don't works in Gutsy!
Hi, I instaled the candidate version 2006.07.09+dfsg1-5 using apt-get install. As I stated before, it didn't work. I solved the problem manually installing the desired pkgs using the tar.gz's available at octave-forge's page. However, I think it would be interesting to have the new version at the repositories! [Bug 157050] octave2.9-forge don't works in Gutsy!
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: octave2.9-forge Hi, I had upgraded from feisty to gutsy today and had noticed that some commands do not work in octave2.9. For example, I tried to call the help of imread function in octave2.9-forge and got the following answer: help imread help: `imread' not found Additional help for built-in functions and operators is available in the on-line version of the manual. Use the command `doc topic' to search the manual index. Help and information about Octave is also available on the WWW at http://www.octave.org and via the [EMAIL PROTECTED] I believe that octave is not able to find the functions in octave2.9-forge. I tried to reinstall the octave2.9 package as well as the octave2.9-forge but it did not solve the problem. Furthermore, I would like to point out that the package octave2.9-forge is not up to date in the repositories. Namely, there exists a more recent version for example at the Debian respositories. Namely, octave2.9-forge (2006.07.09+dfsg1-8).
