Just confirmed that /etc/bacula/scripts/delete_catalog_backup is present in hardy and karmic (bacula-director-sqlite3 and bacula-director- sqlite). For lucid, only bacula-director-sqlite3 has the file since support for sqlite-2.x is deprecated in bacula-3.x. I recently updated my system from the 2.2.8 to the 2.4.2 release (Centos RPM). On my system I noticed that the files you are referring to moved from /etc/bacula to /usr/lib64/bacula. However, my bacula-dir.conf, bacula-fd.conf and bacula-sd.conf all contained references to the old /etc/bacula path. My guess is that putting executable scripts in /etc is not the proper filesystem standard so they were moved. So, no query.sql and no delete_catalog_backup. Very strange. Have you tried reinstall? bacula-director-sqlite 2.2.8-5ubuntu7.1 later I installed the sqlite3 version, but same problem. Hm... I can't confirm this. All four versions of bacula-director do contain /etc/bacula/scripts/delete_catalog_backup. Check /var/lib/dpkg/info/bacula-director-sqlite.list and/or /var/lib/dpkg/info/bacula-director-sqlite3.list. Is there anything in /etc/bacula/scripts?
