Sehr geehrte Damen u. Herren, habe das Programm 4.0.1 in Englisch installiert. Wie kann ich das Programm komplett auf Deutsch einstellen ? Für eine Antwort bedanke ich mich schon jetzt. MfG Hubertus Schulz

Win 74.0.1 Hallo zusammen, in der Vorgängerversion 3.6.4 habe ich eine Einstellung geschafft, die mir jetzt nicht mehr gelingt: In Prinzip geht es wie mit der Direkt-Hilfe: Hier macht ein Fenster auf, wenn ich mit dem Mauszeiger auf ein Menu-Icon zeige oder im Dokument wird bei einer Verzeichnismarke der zugehörige Text angezeigt. Sobald ich den Text wieder bearbeite, ist diese Funktion weg und ich muss beim nächsten mal wieder die Hilfe einschalten. Vorher ging das dauernd. Wo finde ich den Schalter für diese Einstellung? Bin ich zu dusslig zum Suchen bzw Finden? Gruß und Dank vorab! nur ein kleiner technischer punkt: das mit möglichen voreinstellungen, z.b. dass automatisch ein tab eingefügt würde, würde nur sehr bedingt helfen, und zwar aus dem einfachen grund, dass die maße dieser tabs von verschiedenen gegebenheiten abhängen, vor allem von der schriftgröße und art der nummerierung (arabisch, römisch oder buchstaben, und auch hier groß- oder kleinschreibung). es wäre daher eigentlich gar nicht möglich, voreinstellungen für all diese verschiedenen möglichkeiten festzulegen. ich geb dir insofern recht, dass es anfänglich eine tüftelei ist, brauchbare werte herauszufinden für seine eigenen bedürfnisse. aber ich sehe nicht, wie man diese arbeit vermeiden sollte. wenn man einmal das prinzip verstanden hat (hat bei mir auch eine weile gedauert - aber dafür gibt es ja einführungen und wir wären dann ganz überflüssig) geht es doch ganz flott und vor allem für alle möglichen situationen. 2014-04-08 19:38 GMT+02:00 Holger Schulz q...@gmx.net: Am 2014-04-08 um 10:19 schrieb Dave davepo...@gmail.com: Ich habe deswegen so reagiert, weil auf eine ausführliche Erklärung, wie man ein schönes Inhaltsverzeichnis mit Treppeneffekt erzeugen kann, du lediglich nein geschrieben hast. Eine Flexibilität, die ich so dringend brauche wie ein drittes Nasenloch. Eine passende Voreinstellung reicht. Die Geschichte mit den Leerzeichen ist eine Notlösung. Sauber und korrekt sind sicherlich die Tabulatoren. Und deshalb hätte ich die auch als Voreinstellung erwartet. Außerdem muss man erst einmal wissen, was ein Tabulator, eine negative Einrückung etc. sind. Und man muss noch die passenden Einrücktiefen kennen, damit es anschließend tatsächlich brauchbar aussieht. Neben dem Zeitaufwand ist das ein erheblicher inhaltlicher Aufwand. Das alles mit dem Vorteil der Flexibilität zu konnotieren, erscheint mir dann doch etwas als Schönrederei. Word hingegen hat viele Voreinstellungen, die optisch alles andere als geglückt sind. Wenn es dir nur um den Vergleich zwischen MS Office und OO geht, geschenkt. Von mir aus ist OO halt besser. Und deswegen gibt es womöglich doch Details, die man in OO trotzdem noch besser lösen könnte. Ich empfinde diesen Punkt als erheblichen Nachteil von OO -- auch ohne Vergleich mit MS Word. In meinem Unterricht gehe ich zum Schluss auf MS Word ein und zeige den Unterschied Ach, das ist nur ein Unterschied. Na dann geht's ja. zwischen beiden Programmen. Obwohl ich für die gesamte Einführung nur ca. 2 Zeitstunden habe und die Gruppen aus 20 bis 24 ungeübten und teilweise technikfeindlichen Studierenden bestehen, gelingt es mir, das Ganze rüberzubringen. In einer deiner Mails sagst du, du willst von OpenOffice wieder wegkommen. Achja. Du darfst gerne ein Zitat angeben. Ich wüsste gar nicht inwiefern ich davon wegkommen sollte, ich benutze dieses Programm nur am Rande. Ich kann dir guten Gewissens versichern, dass du mit Word tausend mal mehr Schwierigkeiten haben wirst, den Stoff deinen Schülern rüberzubringen. Dann habe ich wohl bisher etwas falsch gemacht. Die Grundprinzipien der Textbearbeitung konnte ich bisher auch mit MS Word als Beispielprogramm vermitteln. Sogar so, dass ein Teil der Schüler sich später auch in OO zurechtfand. Wenn du bessere Erfahrungen hast, dann berichte darüber. Meine Studierenden konnte ich davon überzeugen, Word in die Tonne zu schmeißen. Wenn das dein Anspruch ist, herzlichen Glückwunsch. Ich bevorzuge Möglichkeiten aufzuzeigen. Dazu gehört sicherlich auch OO. Um bei deinem engen Vergleichspanel zu bleiben, hat es zumindest das bessere Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis als MS Office. Ob es wesentlich besser ist, interessiert mich dabei wenig. Darüber habe ich auch keine Lust zu diskutieren. Das zerfasert sich dann eh in Detailsbetrachtungen. Die kann man gerne betreiben. Getting rid of error message
Sir: A session on OO Calc was (apparently) not closed properly and the next time I tried to start the program all I got was an error message telling me of the falty closing. The error message gave me two options: DON´T CLOSE and REOPEN. By choosing REOPEN the program froze and it was (and is) impossible to get rid of the error message window. Any suggestions? G. J. Depend on the format, most MS Office documents can be opened by OpenOffice although there are some issues with docx documents, but these will be solved in the next release scheduled for this month.
