this was generated by https://md5file.com/calculator and by running CertUtil

these do not match. And Windows said that the publisher could not be verified

Sent to me directly, bypassing the list.
Despite the vulgar language, it might be a clue to what's happening.
If someone received messages with the same ID without the links,
It would narrow the search for the problem.

If Jim McLaughin would like to do something constructive he could
post the source of the last message for comparison.

2017-03-09 Thread Tony Christian
Regarding the ongoing unsubscribe requests some of the issues there are
large number of users who just are not computer literate. So having or
not having the unsub details just will not make any difference.

The general perception that this august help group is a human entity,
whilst in reality we are just a disparate group with a common OO
interest with the help of computers. End users think there is a human
behind the scene.

So I think just be kind to the unsub requests. Lamenting will not change
anything.

Hi,

This morning when I opened my odt file there was a message from ASCII Filter
and I mistakenly clicked yes. It appears this had modified the actual text
content or just changed the text style from english to some other style format.
The file is now opens in square symbols and it is unintelligable to read. There
is nothing in english. The whole file has been altered. This file is for work
so it is very important the work is not list.

The ASCII Filter can't interpret the character set used in the document,
this is because your file is corrupt.
Most likely this happens when your system is shut down before OpenOffice
was able to write everything to disk.
Keep in mind that OpenOffice compresses all files which takes some
processing time.

Am not sure if the contents have disappeared or just the english has changed to
some other style format and so the work is retrievable. I need the restored
version from yesterday 8/3/2017 around 5:09 pm which is the version it was
before I opened the file this morning.

Under Tools -> Options -> Load/Save -> General there is an option to
create backup's
Backups are stored in the directory set under Tools -> Options ->
OpenOffice -> Paths

Please can you have a look at the file and if you are able to restore please do
so. The file is attached to this email.

I very much appreciate your help in this matter. I have very little to no
understanding of this type of stuff so have no idea what must be done.

Thank you

Naj

I know a couple of people who use BASE as a front end for SQLite.

Somewhere in the AOo website, but neither in the template section, nor
in the section that explains using BASE, are four or five BASE
templates, for a music database.

In either the AOo or LibO template repository are:
* A recipe database;
* An inventory system;

Databases tend to be far less destructive of data than spreadsheets are.

On a personal level, I much prefer SQLite as a database engine.

For What Home-Office Tasks are you Using AOO-BASE?

2017-03-09 Thread VinceB.

Hello Group:

Steven Ahers made a ref: to AOO BASE within his reply comments to one of
my previous posts. I have not seen (m)any postings via the email list
with regard to AOO BASE or the several other modules, for that matter.

I have yet to come up with a practical use of the AOO BASE module. I
wonder in what way BASE is being used by HomeOffice operators? An
application of using BASE for developing a "Telephone Directory"
database is what first comes to my mind; I did begin to do that here,
but find that AOO CALC is easier for me.

Anyone care to give their list of BASE task applications? Becoming aware
of how HomeOffice operators are using BASE would be beneficial to me,
and may give me reason to reconsider using a DBM rather than a
spreadsheet tool in some instances.

VinceB.

Dokument schieben. So etwas nennt man Drag & Drop.

Dann solltest Du deinen Rechner sicherheitshalber mal gründlich checken,

if they accept only docx, you should use libreoffice instead not openoffice.

Re: PLEASE HELP WITH THIS-ODT FILE WAS ALTERED AND IS NOW CORRRUPTED

2017-03-09 Thread Ash Ash
If you remember nothing else from this guide, please make sure you remember
this. Whenever you ask for technical support, make absolutely sure you state
the following:

1) Which version of OpenOffice.org you are running.

Open office 4.1.2

2) What your operating system is (for example, Windows XP).

Windows XP

3) If there is an error, state clearly what it is and how we can reproduce it.

When the documed was opened a message from ASCII filter popped up. After that
the file was not readable.

4) Do not attach files to mail messages. We absolutely need you to include this
information before we can help you

Subject: PLEASE HELP WITH THIS-ODT FILE WAS ALTERED AND IS NOW CORRRUPTED

Am not sure if the contents have disappeared or just the english has changed to
some other style format and so the work is retrievable. I need the restored
version from yesterday 8/3/2017 around 5:09 pm which is the version it was
before I opened the file this morning.

Please can you have a look at the file and if you are able to restore please do
so. The file is attached to this email.

I very much appreciate your help in this matter. I have very little to no
understanding of this type of stuff so have no idea what must be done.

Thank you

Naj

Re: Galerie

2017-03-09 Thread Reubelt

Hallo,

Re: Determine Five Best Scores

2017-03-09 Thread James Plante
@Brian: Thank you! I had not seen that function in use before.

@Vince: Take a look in the Help file for another explanation of the LARGE() and
SMALL() functions. Since you’re keeping track of bowling scores, you might also
want to take a look at the RANK() function. From your posts, I’m thinking it
may come in handy later on.

Default setting

2017-03-09 Thread Bertil Virdung

Hello!
I recently installed Open Office 4.1.3 which works excellent, except one
problem. I have my adress list installed in Excel, including names,
phonenumbers and e-mail adresses. When I place the cursor over an e-mail
adress and open it, there is a default sender adress coming up. It is
not possible to make a change in the senderadress or select an other
sender. I use Morzilla Firebird. Please tell me how to get rid of this
default problem.

With best regards from

Fehlermeldung

2017-03-09 Thread winchristin
Hallo,
Ich habe die Meldung erhalten . Was muss ich tun?
