It looks like the last stable version of skypeforlinux is now at
8.109.0.209.
I am unsure what the future of this script is, but for now I fixed it in
my branch.

Are you referring to notification sounds? I use the Outlook app and this app
works really well if you want a notification for every message that comes in.
You’ll have an add bar showing at the top, but you can ignore that.

Can you still reproduce this with fwupd 1.9.15-2? I believe it should
be fixed now.
