Well... I just made an ugly plugin - in case aMSN incorrectly detects
your firewalled status, you can manually set it (I have the problem
both at home and at the lab!). Don't make it public, but if you want

I just tracked the version with svn, and I found out that the version
6789 loads quite fast, and 6790 very very slow.
And the only change between them is sxml.tcl
Now I think it is up to you to see what may be lagging the load for it...
