I'm having soem trouble managing to populate the pwercentage of Bytes
fields in the following reports. I am running analog 5.xx on FreeBSD 5.0 on
SPARC (Just to make my life easier!)
the reports which fail to work are:
Domain report
Organisation Report
Host Report
File Type

That's a ReportMagic formatted report, so it's not
immediately clear whether the problem is a ReportMagic
problem or an Analog problem, but I don't see any mention of
bytes anywhere in any of the reports. Are you logging bytes
transferred? You can't get a percentage if you don't

You've supplied a wrong UNCOMPRESS command, which is trying to compress
the file, not uncompress it.

now which I would like to ask for advice about.

1. I needed to copy the contents of the analog images directory to the images
directory for where the output ends up. It should have been obvious to me. Now that is
done, the bar chart appears.

report show that analog managed to parse some lines but not others?
In either case, if you turn on debugging, analog will report where on each
line it got confused.

I'm using the Wadsack-Allen anlgform.exe as we don't have Perl installed on

I'm seeing replies to questions that I haven't seen, and some of my
replies don't seem to have made it to the list. Is it just me, or is
there a problem with the list in the last day or two?

we are using WebStar 3.02 with FileMaker 4.1 and Lasso 3.5 on MacOS 8.6 and analog 3.32
for MacOS.
With our Web-interface that is realized in Lasso 3.5 the FileMaker database
is searchable using search-forms.
WebStar does the logging. The header of the logfile looks like...

at least get you started. Once you get a report that begins to
make some sense, you can begin to tweak it by adding and modifying
parameters in your CFG file.

i have several logfiles that contain these ftp accesses, but analog just ignores
them. i ran it in debug mode but couldn't find the mistake. is there a way to
tell analog to analyze it also ?
Here's an example of a "normal" log entry and a ftp entry. both are in the same
logfile.
