Hi, I have a question about analog . I have used analog 5.32 fwanalog 0.6.4 for Nokia IP350(IPSO3.5.1) including Checkpoint FireWall-One . Can I get 'the html report file' for the firewall-one from the analog ? If you have tried the analog for firewall log in the IP350 on SUN Solaris 8 or 9 ,

Hi, I have analog 5.32 running on Fedora 1 together with ReportMagic 2.21 and DNSTrans 1.52 DNSTrans works fine and created a dnsfile which has thousands of entries, looks good. Bud analog still uses the IPs instead of hostnames. I have DNS READ and DNSFILE /var/log/internetlogs/dnsfile in the

Thanks for your response. The major sticking point is the lack of wildcards for the log filenames. These need to be specified by the user at compile time. The alternative is to parse ALL logfiles until Analog finds the start date (which is what I'm having to do now - and some of those log

Thanks for the reply - sorry for posting twice but I'd had no response and I did post straight after signing up - things happen. The script only works if you know the directory in advance. The way mine is set up it only needs to know the name of the analog script that contains the base path -
