Dear Sirs,
I have a problem with the standard W3 logfile format on IIS 5.
The loglines looks like this:
#Fields: date time c-ip cs-username s-ip s-port cs-method cs-uri-stem
cs-uri-query sc-status cs(User-Agent)
2001-04-02 08:37:06 212.125.204.200 - 212.125.204.160 80 GET /index.asp
I think you don't need to provide LOGFORMAT for IIS5 W3C Log file, Analog
will detect automatically.

I've written a small helper application called What Did I Find?
If anyone could test it, I'd be very grateful.
Turn on your SEARCHQUERY report in your config file.
Then run Analog as normal. Then run WDIF. Every search string
in the query report will be turned into a hyperlink, which
points to
Analog detected the LOGFORMAT automatically. :)
Now there's a new problem:
Successful requests: 270,226 (113,722)
Average successful requests per day: 15,592 (16,245)
Logfile lines without status code: 54 (0)
Successful requests for pages: 50 (17)
Average successful requests for pages per day:
Hi,
I want to collect the nuber of transfered bytes for each day in a database.
How must I configure analog (today 4.16) to do this.
The first page only gives me the sum off ALL day's in the Log-File and the
sum of the last seven days but not only the last day.
What can I do??

The Successful requests for pages and Average successful requests for
pages per day is wrong.
Use PAGEINCLUDE to define more things as pages.

Greetings,
However Issara, you can provide it explicitely (I have, and it works).
Kenneth,
You missed a spot. Between the uri-stem and the http-status lives a query.
Your logfile format doesn't include this.

If I include the following include in the analog.cfg report, would the
Failed requests: in the General Summary reflect the total number of 404
pages? If not, which value, if any, in the General Summary would reflect the
total number of 404 pages?
STATUSINCLUDE 404
Thanks,

As you can see, the reqs column is not really sorted.
What am I missing?

Lucian,
Tell me if and when you want me to put this on the Helper Applications page.
(I'm assuming not yet, as it's not on http://www.wischik.com/lu/programmer/

Analog is designed to parse raw data in one or more log files.
Do you have data about your subnets in some type of log file?

Hi peeps.
I'm running RedHat Linux 7.0 and analog.4-11 for multiple domains.
The problem I'm encountering is that the gzipped files for the access_logs
aren't getting read into the reports.
I've tried /bin/gzip -cd, gzip -cd, /bin/gzip -cd and so on. Nothing.
I checked to see if it was because

Analog automatically recognizes IIS5 format log files (at least version
