You need a project created (or imported) in your Eclipse IDE and you
need to select that project to use the Open Project menu. If not, it
will be grayed out.
I'm assuming you mean to ask how to import your existing android
project into Eclipse.
If that is your question then there are two ways to

200 pages, so a great way to get an intro to Android dev in a short

I just wanted to give a heads up to Linux newbies about the page:

Unless you have /tools in your system PATH variable, you will need to
add ./ to the command android create avd --target 2 --name my_avd

Hello Android is indeed excellent. My personal favorite is The busy
coders guide to Android development.
I purchased the e-book (pdf) which came with two other books (The

I primarily purchased it because of the 1 year update guarantee, and

the current active operator changes.
My goal is to apply some settings in the exact same moment of the

Hi,
I'm a total newbie to developing for Android and I could be in over my
head for this but I'm a fast learner with programming languages so I
thought I'd give it a shot. As for the hardware part, that'll be
more difficult.
I'm a big fan of the NESOID app for Android and every time I play I
