I disagree, I'd say most GUI elements should use native elements.
The only exception I would say is character dialogs. Although you could
probably skin some native UI elements to look just as nice.

I have been using Monkey stress testing on Honeycomb OS on my Tablet.
On all the applications I am getting the dropped events.
Events injected: 1
:Dropped: keys=231 pointers=400 trackballs=0 flips=0
What are these dropped events? Are they errors with touch driver or

Quite a sensationalist headline for having reviewed one app, in my opinion.
I've found a number of apps that are far better than the CNN app. I've
built a few apps for Honeycomb and have really enjoyed the experience of
being able to think differently than I would in a traditional phone app.

No, that's just one of the cases (the most obvious one) others are simply
equipment selection screens, team mates screen, etc.
Where you have a decent amount of UI interaction, mainly lists, images,
buttons, and labels.
