Thanks!

How about usbserial_generic, is it loading that one? I see that in my

Paul maybe right, but OTOH, I just tried setting the minicom serial

start minicom with that configuration, I get the

Heh, I've tried that a few times already (I've tried several different
usb disks, some flash based, some ide drives in usb caddies).
One thing which I wonder about: endian-ness.
Could that be a factor?
Its not something I have a great understanding of.
Could it be worth while trying a big endian

Anyone have any hints for getting xmms (or something else) running so that
it plays mp3 and ogg?
xmms is installed, it allows me to select songs, but does nothing if I hit
play.
I must be missing a plugin or two. How do I get mp3 and ogg play-ability?

Right on :) The only disappointment I have with mp3 playback is the fact
that there is no audio equalizer :( It sucks listening to mp3s with no
bass boost or anything...
Interesting My alsamixer shows bass and treble controls... This is on

If you are still writing about Zaurus, then there is a hardware bass
boost circuit in the audio codec.
Simply run

I was not accurate. It is valid for Zaurus SL-Cxx00.
Simply run alsamixer, increase Bass, change Bass Boost and Bass Filter
as you want, and all audio applications

Hey all,
I was trying to build an x11-image. Ran into this problem. It was trying to
configure the openmoko_dialer2_svn package. It died and the log says that
libgsmd was not found and to adjust PKG_CONFIG_PATH. It ends with this:
