I have downloaded the Runnix.img.gz and the
astlinux-trunk-1725-via-serial tar/gz kindly provided at
http://www.djhsolutions.com/astlinux/
I have installed the runnix image onto a NeoWare CA22 thin client and
this boots up OK.
I have unzipped/untarred the astlinux file, and have copied its

I have remounted the disk as RO and added the line

would normally install a whole image which includes both Runnix + Astlinux.

When I want to modify the configuration I can modify the files on the
keydisk and everything is OK.
However I now need to change the root password. I understand that I need
to use genuinon for this, and have a second IDE CF

However, if you want to see exactly what is on the CF card unionfs
partition, then you can go to /oldroot/asturw and you will find it.

When you are trying to login, which account and password are you using.
The default root password after a clean installation is astlinux.
As far as your TDM card goes , have you set the ZAPMODS variable in
/mnt/kd/rc.conf ? Have you setup the configuration the card for the
(assuming you
you are using ZAP rather than DAHDI) in /mnt/kd/zapatel.conf
and /mnt/kd/asterisk/zapata.conf.]
