For a few weeks now, I havent been able to update my box because of this:

I am having the following problems with updating FC6 to the latest
kernel (2.6.22.4-45.fc6):
1. Missing kmdls:
nvidia-graphics9631-kmdl
lirc-kmdl
2. I also get the following dependency error under yum:

Hi
I'm looking at purchasing some new PCs using a Q6600 processor
(quad-core) and a P35 based motherboard (Gigabyte) and with the ICH9R
controller.
It looks like there's is support for the P35 chipset (I've seen people
reporting that Ubuntu ran fine on it) ; but I'm not sure with the
stock
Hi Paulo, all,
I removed the ATrpms nvidia RPMs and installed an equivalent set of
livna RPMs (containing the 7185 release drivers) and these worked fine
for me. I assume that this is because the livna RPM provides
nvidia_drv.so instead of nvidia_drv.o.

David

i just added bugzilla bug:
http://bugzilla.atrpms.net/show_bug.cgi?id=1283
hopefully, it will document the problem.
I don't think there's going to be an easy way to specify which cards
I don't think the nvidia-graphics9631-kmdl package is available
anymore. Try nvidia-graphics9639. Different version for lirc, I think
it's version 0.8.3something.

I was having the exact same problem with the 9639 driver. I created a
link from nvidia_drv.so to nvidia-1.0-9639 and that did the trick for
me. The atrpms packages may not have worked if you had any other nvidia
packages other than nvidia-graphices7185* and the nvidia helper and
devices
This means that it can't install the kernel modules for kernel
2.6.22.1-41 because it is no longer available. Kernel 2.6.22.4-65 is
what you want now. Update your kernel with
yum update
and then manually install each kmdl with
yum install PACKAGE-kmdl-2.6.22.4-65
where of course PACKAGE is
