The mythtv people appreciate it if we provide a gdb backtrace. You can
do that as follows:
su - mythtv
cat .gdbcmds EOF
handle SIGPIPE nostop noprint
handle SIG33 nostop noprint

set pagination off
set args -l myth.log -v record,channel,siparser --update --file 1 -1
run

headless backend, and a macmini ppc frontend. Up to now, only mythtv-backend
(plus a few dependencies) was installed on the headless
