Hi Everyone,
I have a user who has 15 devices that are getting stuck at 98% during
the enterprise activation process. The time zone service book never
completes. Does anyone have any ideas on this?
Thanks

I am having an issue with the Facebook Application on our BB's on the
BES server. Seems the options are greyed out and it seems to be a BES
issue, we are on BES 5.0, is there an option we need to shut off to
allow full access to the facebook app?

I know this issue..
and the fix from RIM does not work
You need to hide the EA window.
Open the service books and delete and undelete the Service book Desktop SYNC
The EA will restart and finish soon.
I know it will work

I agree with Rich Don. You've outgrown MSDE long ago.
You'd want to have the SQL database/server in the same data center. If it's in
a remote data center, then you would ideally want to have a redundant network
path to get to it. In case of an outage, the BES can operate ok without being
Thank you so much for the detailed response. I am going to get our DBA's
involved and get cracking on this upgrade. Its hard to get things to
happen fast in my company so this has been a bit procrastinated. But we
crashed last week so now there is no time to play.
