Thank you Carol,
I’m not much of a reader. I’ve never been able to make the time to force
myself to read, but I clicked on the link and read the first couple paragraphs
of Building and Rebuilding. Of course, being me, I thought it was going to be
about fences, silly me. I love the way he

Has Canada been having illness issues that prompted this change?
I hope sheep population that already live in Canada will not be subject to
eradication if they are not Codon 171RR, 171QQR, or 136AA. That is what comes
to mind when I read this.

I have the high-tensile electrified wire fencing. I have had some issues and
have changed some of the initial fencing since it was put up. The younger rams
are an issue with this fencing at 6 inches apart. After we changed it to 3
inches apart, there have been no issues with the younger rams.
That's sounds great Tiana, make sure to take some pictures to post!

This works for horses, so I'm guessing it would work for rams. In the horse
world, if you have a horse that likes to kick his stall and destroy it, you
mount plexiglass to the inside of the stall and it basically saves your barn.

Rick,
These are beautiful lambs and their mother is very pretty. I am still new to
the sheep world, but my sister in law has sheep just like this and they are
painted desert sheep, not blackberry's. They are related, their father was a

Hi Sandy,
I had the opposite problem. I had a little ram lamb that wanted mama
desperately and mama only had eyes for his twin sister. I put them together,
and she totally ignored him. It got to the point, where he started looking
hunched over and very thin, so I decided just to bottle
Michael,
I'm so sorry you are having these issues and losing sheep. I am extremely
attached to all my sheep, but especially the ones who are pets.
I live in Maryland and currently, do not have a large animal predator problem,
but is light something that will startle them away? Would it be
In the horse world a hay belly is when a horse is eating too much hay and
getting fat. We say they have a hay belly and they need to lose weight. It
wasn't because they were getting poor quality hay. At the moment, my little
mule has a little bit of a hay belly. He eats pretty fast and can

I hope this turns out well for you, please let us know what is happening.

Jerry,
You are going to have to bottle feed her. You certainly aren't going to just
let her die! Bring her into the barn and bottle feed her.

I am very glad to hear you succeeded in your catch quest. I have a small farm,
only 22 sheep at the moment, they all know their names and come running when I
call, but after I catch the first one, the others are wise and won't be caught.
I feel compelled to tell you about a recent trip I
