Kelp is used as a natural mineral supplement for all classes of
livestock, and people too! It comes in a 50 lb sack usually, in a
granular form.
Kale is a plant similar to cabbage, and is planted as a succulent winter
feed. (It is also people food.) The animals are turned out on it
Okay, I am so totally confused. Is it kale or kelp that is good to feed the
sheep. In any case, I cannot find it at any feed store around here. They all
give me a funny look. Can someone, pretty please, give me brand names of the
stuff and the exact name of the place they purchase it from??
