Upgrading the kernel

I know when I upgraded the kernel on my LILO system I had to re-run lilo to point the boot sector to the new kernel image, or something like that. Do I need to do anything with grub when I install a new kernel, other than update menu.lst to reflect the new image name? -- Peter B. Steiger
