I just found that my Braille display is not supported on Snow Leopard.
I hope that Apple will add support for my Braille display in the future.

Why not try to figure out why this is so? If you really need it that is.

Maybe I misunderstand you.
I am not a native english speaker.
I cannot find my Braille display on the list of suppoerted displays.
I also sent an email to Apple and they confirmed that my display is not
supported.
But they will try to add support for it in the future.
Very quick response on
What braille display are you using? Is it maybe an older one or a less
common one? You might also contact the company that makes it and they may be
able to tell you how do make it work. It may be that you can set it up as
another brand and it will work just fine. I'm glad you got such great
Papenmeier Braillex els 80.
To be honest I don't know if this Braille display is very old or less
common.
I see myself as an intermediate Braille reader, I have just been reading
Braille for 1.5 years.
I love Braille and find it very useful combined with speech and hope to
improve my reading
You are very lucky to be given a braille display. That does not happen in
the U.S. Check with the maker and see if they can help since I don't think
that is an old one at all. They might just need to contact Apple. I don't
have a braille display so am envious of you.

I will contact Papenmeier.
What can I say?
I guess I'm lucky to be living in Norway.
Not everyone is given a Braille display though, you'll have to explain a
good reason - like that you have a job or are about to be hired etc.
You will also need to prove that you are capable of learning to read

Fortunately for me, I long ago learned that listening to instructions was
really the way to go (grin).
Thanks again for the help.

hello group.
I bought a version of Office 2003 that I thought was genuine. But now,
Microsoft Advantage is telling me that it isn't a genuine copy. does anyone
know where I can find Office 2003 or even Word 2003. I don't like Word 2007 at
all.
I'd like to buy it legally. But I have no idea
Hi John. Try searching for OEM versions of it. You might be able to find it
that way.

Hi Samson,
I keep getting the message rejection notice, something about your isp and an
issue with attachments so here's a Sendspace link to the file.

sorry John, I think our Isp servers are rejecting all Exe file attachments
as viruses.
I will try the link.
Thanks, best regards.

recently I have been made aware of a VOIP service called ooma.
apparently all you do is buy their interface box and connect it to your
internet connection and your phone or phones, and you get free calling any
where in the continental Us. free.
I have heard various different prices for the
