Maybe I misunderstand you. I am not a native english speaker. I cannot find my Braille display on the list of suppoerted displays. I also sent an email to Apple and they confirmed that my display is not supported. But they will try to add support for it in the future. Very quick response on

What braille display are you using? Is it maybe an older one or a less common one? You might also contact the company that makes it and they may be able to tell you how do make it work. It may be that you can set it up as another brand and it will work just fine. I'm glad you got such great

Papenmeier Braillex els 80. To be honest I don't know if this Braille display is very old or less common. I see myself as an intermediate Braille reader, I have just been reading Braille for 1.5 years. I love Braille and find it very useful combined with speech and hope to improve my reading

You are very lucky to be given a braille display. That does not happen in the U.S. Check with the maker and see if they can help since I don't think that is an old one at all. They might just need to contact Apple. I don't have a braille display so am envious of you. Greg - Original

I will contact Papenmeier. What can I say? I guess I'm lucky to be living in Norway. Not everyone is given a Braille display though, you'll have to explain a good reason - like that you have a job or are about to be hired etc. You will also need to prove that you are capable of learning to read
