I am working with an HP scanjett 5000 scanner.I was having troubles with
getting garbled text after the OCR was completed. Finally I scanned a page and
it turned out perfectly. Next, I changed the setting to duplex mode and back to
garbled text I went. Any ideas on why this might be?

I was wondering if it is possible to buy a NLS player? So far I have not
been very happy with the victor reader software from book share and so I am
hesitant to buy a victor reader stream. I would love to be able to down load
books from the computer and internet and read them away from
one's ability to

Some programs use the same key combinations as JAWS does. If one wants
to use the programs key stroke then one must use the pass key through
command first. This command is JAWS key + the number 3 right above the

using one in my college class.
Alternitively, you may want to scan the books in to your computer and
use OCR. I use the HP scan jet 5000 and the OCR software that came with it.

I had a net gear router. It had a tiny hole on the back with a reset
button in it. One needs something small like the tip of a pen to press the
button and reset the router. Other wise it probably won't let you access the
internet. Just my experience.

and turned off most of the tab browsing features. Almost all the issues I

connected me with an acer 5733 Z, I love it. I really don't know all the

I agree. At one point I was using one desktop and two laptop computers.

it as a text file in adobe. However, many pdf books disable this feature.
You may need a PDF to text converter program. This should allow you to
bypass the lock out feature, if it is turned on.
