I went to the add or remove list, and there is no internet explorer
listed, as it was on my xp pc, and only 2 windows listed, windows live
essentials and windows live sync, and since I do want to uninstall

obviously I'm not familiar enough with the add or remove menu to follow your
instructions. as I said, on my xp pc, internet explorer is displayed as
internet explorer on the menu. on mine, the menu begins with 2, 3 digit
numbers
