You can run drill bits in an impact driver. They have to have a quarter inch hex shank on them though. A big difference is the size. An impact driver will be smaller and lighter than a hammer drill. Also a hammer drill, unless set up for SDS bits can accept anything up to the max size of

Well I changed the corolla dome light. I think it was the easiest repair I ever did. there were two screws holding the unit and a molded power plug. Just removed the screws and plug and put the new one back in place. My daughter was thrilled when the light went on when the door was opened.
