Follow-up Comment #10, bug #15048 (project grub): I found a person that had more or less the same problem and I solved it from Linux. You just have to delete stage1_5* files from /boot/grub/ folder and reinstall grub with root (hdX,Y) setup (hdX) (grub-install copies again the stage1_5* files

how can i grub a new OS

Hello,sir.I am Joren, a student from PKU in China. These days I wanna to write a new mini-OS for learning the linux OS. Well, I have a problem, I don't have a floppy-device, and I have tried to use the removable-device USBDisk to run the OS, but it failed. So I want to get this OS run by GNU-GRUB.
