Hello, I just got a new NEC ND-3540A writer and some Verbatim 16x DVD+R media. I can't seem to write them at 16x in Linux though, cdrecord-ProDVD offers 6x as maximum and even that starts off at 4x for the first 800 MB or so and then accelerates to 6x. I notice with -prcap (output follows) the

I recently bought a Teac DV-W50E and while it works fine for most things, I can't seem to write VCDs with it from cue/bin files generated by vcdimager. The error message says the drive won't accept the cue sheet. Same thing with cdrecord and cdrdao 1.1.7, cdrecord output appended. Now, writing
