Win2K Pro works quite well with the version of IIS shipped with it. I have
had mine setup at home and it is pretty solid as an FTP anyway. I have
installed the IIS5 for Win2Kpro in other places
win2kpro has a webserver on the CD... I guess it's IIS 5.0

You will need to go to control panel, select add/remove programs and then
select the IIS components.

It's on the 2K cd, it's just hidden. Put the CD back in your bay and then
when the popup appears, I think it's called "Install Additional Features" or
something like that.

You need to add it using Add/Remove Programs, then click Add/Remove Windows

you'll also need the Win2K Pro installation disk.

Todd,
You can load IIS for Win2000 PRO. I have not double-checked this, but I did
it at one point a few months ago and I think you just go to Control Panel |
Add Windows Components and check the box for Internet Information Server. It
is not installed by default and I guess there is some
add / remove programs from control panel - then into "Add Components"
can add IIS from there as a selection - I beleive that after adding the SP1
for win2k - its IIS5 ... ? No?

Uh, no, but if you already have Win2K, you already have it. It's on the CD!
At least, that's how it works with Win2K Server.

All you need to do is to install it from the CD. Why it is not installed on
default I cannot understand. Do control panel, add/remove programs and you
will see the optional WIN 2K components. Choose IIS and you're on your way.
