I was wondering if anyone is either working on a Log4perl plugin or is
currently using it in CA with a simple pre-run wrapper.
I tried a couple ways but am not quite getting it:
# this one is in cgiapp_prerun
Log::Log4perl::init( $self-cfg('logger_conf') );
$self-param( 'logger' )

Why not just use CGI::Application::Plugin::LogDispatch? It works perfectly.

Well, for a start:
a) You just have a personal preference for Log4perl - like some people
prefer H::T over TT or vice versa
b) Your organisation or customers have standardised on Log4perl in all of
their apps, web or otherwise
