Re: [change] Dimagi is hiring!

2016-04-13 Thread Anupam Jain
Hi all,

In addition to the earlier message, Dimagi is hiring to fill more positions
at our office in Delhi, India. We have two large programs in partnership
with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation which are incredibly exciting,
and we think are among the largest mHealth efforts going on right now, and
likely are the biggest. All of these roles will play a critical role in
these projects which have the potential to really impact the lives of 100s
of millions of people currently under served in India. *For more
information on Dimagi, the open positions, and requirements to be a
successful candidate, please visit our job postings linked below.*

[change] CHI 2014 Panel - Can you do good and do well? (Transcript on wikispaces)

2015-05-31 Thread Anupam Jain
We saw some good interest for the CHI Panel that happened almost an year
ago (CHI 2014 in Toronto) on making a career in the HCI-4-societal-impact
space. Thought to post it to the larger group if folks were interested to
look at the transcript (thanks to Meg) which is now on wikispaces (
http://chi2014.wikispaces.com/panel-transcript), the main page being
http://chi2014.wikispaces.com/dogood

[change] List of ICTD orgs in India

2015-02-18 Thread Anupam Jain
Hi folks

We are trying to do so mapping out of the ICTD space in India (mostly
practitioners) and wanted to start off by listing down all orgs (only India
as of now) actively involved in building tech for development and
classifying them under broad domains. Wanted to check if anyone knows of
other such lists that we could refer to as well? (have seen this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ICT4D_organizations one)

Thanks
Anupam
