Extremetech is reporting that Walgreens is offering one free ink jet refill
to promote their refilling service. This will happen on Wednesday, September
All we need is a dial-up connected volunteer. Surely I am not alone
in this universe.
Yes, Steve, you are all alone. Last man in the Universe with dial up. I
looked you up in the Guinness book.

I'm upgrading my Compaq PC's memory to 2 GB from 512 and have a couple
of questions. While I can document the correct memory upgrade through
HP/Compaq and Crucial, when I find what seems to be a cheaper price for
memory at some of the other websites, I am unable to find my particular
computer

I am honored...I think. As it is, it all works out for me. Plus, I

I've got a friend running win xp pro. Before running antimalware etc, she
had intermitten connectivity issues via both wireless and wired. After
running a couple of malware apps, connectivity is totally gone.
I get the error: An internal error has occurred System cannot find file

You should be fine buying Kingston PC2-5300 memory. It is a good idea to
have both from the same manufacturer, of the same type.
I would go ahead and buy from newegg - they are very reputable.

Beginning to get jealous of people who live within close proximity to
Walgreens or Walmart! Didn't see my Dell 4 in 1 printer listed on list of
Dell printers that are refillable. Since two generic cartridges didn't
work, maybe there's a good reason.
Either Dell is lying when they
It might work, it might not. I've seen PCs that were *very* picky about
what RAM they would run and others not fussy at all.
That's why I stick with vendors that match the memory to the machine, like

We have a 44k dial-up user here. It bites that this is the fastest connection i
can get with my local phone company. They give me good service besides this
tho. DSL should be out here in a year or so! Now it's either snail mail or
dial-up. It keeps me pluggin' down the super-highway tho. Since
Aren't all these card readers USB devices? Some are plugged inside

But now I do! Guess I'll just stick with my little portable USB SD
card reader...
Seems the simplest thing...

Thanks so much guys. I'm completely convinced to go with the online option.
And incidentally, I'm still really happy with my Apple purchase.

I explained the situation to him and asked him if he was willing to
try as you have suggested. I hope he will. If the same thing happens
