[courier-users] Auth problems with esmtproutes and esmtpauthclient

For reasons that I cannot explain, I am getting 535 Auth Failed errors between two courier mail servers. I am using a username and password that is known to work correctly when authenticating via an email client. Here is my configuration: client: knee.xtime.com (courier-0.44) - esmtproutes
