Hi,
If you have SELinux enabled have you adjusted SELinux to allow access? I
had a similar problem, which was solved when I disabled SELinux.

Hi,everyone
I have a problem. When execute the loop and message demo in dsplink##
directory, it need insert cmemk.ko and
dsplinkk.ko.Message is ok. But loop cannot work? I donn't know how to insert
cmmemk.ko for loop. That is
how to modify the pools=?

The source code for dsplink and cmem are both available as part of the DVEVM
S/W package, even though they are not available under the GPL license.

For the pure DSP Link samples, you don't need the CMEM driver. DSP Link has no
dependency on CMEM.
And for completeness,
* Codec Engine (for DM644x) has a dependency on both CMEM and DSP Link.
* The DVEVM demos have a dependency on Codec Engine.

There is no such paragraph in the 6446 datasheet, and VPSS_CLKCTL isn't
described in any datasheet. This is becoming very frustrating... :(

Hi Folks,
Just some additional information. I have had the TI folks at my office
several times of the last few weeks regarding the 6446M.
I have submitted a whole list of these undocumented registers and all kinds
of other facts of the VPFE and VPBE that are glossed over in the documents.
Hi
I am planning to put some documentation at www.fl-eng.com for the davinci,
but here is a snap shot
The following function was used to drive a 1024x768 DVI flat panel display.
The DVI was implemented using the TFP410 and we produced an RGB888 output
from the Davinci. You need to make sure the

Thank you so much, this will help me a lot! Since you already did this, did you

I believe the references to using the 54MHz clock to drive the VENC are to
allow proper operation of the NTSC\PAL encoding logic. Using the 54MHz clock
input allows for proper operation at standard video rates. However, our
system is driving only using the parallel RGB888 outputs to drive a

Glad to see this was resolved!
Unfortunately, I couldn't find this don't modify input buffers

I see it's been added to the xDM 1.0 beta interface docs
Hi, all
TI support give me the right answer. I attach the patch.
With that patch you can following the tutorial. But NOTE the uImage which
you write to nand flash, must use the one without NAND support! otherwise
you can not boot from HDD.
But with EVM booting from nand flash you will get a
Chris,
Yes, I have rebuild the codec server, and when I use previous kernel ( like
linux-2.6.10-mvl402) and DSP_link1.3.06 there is no problem. My current
kernel version is: linux-2.6.10-mvl401-davinci_evm and dsplink is
1_30_08_02.
