Dear DBPedians, I would like to run the DBPedia extractor only on one
class (and its subclasses) of resources (e.g. People).
If I understood well, currently I can only run the extractor in the
entire dump that I have download. I would like to output the triples
only for a specific class

Sure it's posssible. You should however use RDF Slice (
https://bitbucket.org/emarx/rdfslice) for this operation.
Be warned that it will take a number of hours (depending on the numbers of
datasets you will use).

Any chance we can get a well-defined interface that could be used to run
‘rdfslice’ as an Infovore application but still let people run it independently
of Hadoop? I think that would help with the “number of hours” problems.
