I obviously still have a use for v1 as there isn't an ssh

I quickly reviewed the patch set and it's way too intrusive for me to
commit it. I think the goal is laudable but the approach taken is
overkill.
We don't need new options, we just want something safe by default. If

Dear Maintainer,
Currently one can do
$ dpkg-buildpackage --changes-option=-S
to do a binary build locally, but only upload the source package so that
buildds build on all arches. Note that this command *does* generate a buildinfo

Dear Maintainer,
the info scroller that displays on the bottom of the game screen is distracting
and not very useful (at least for me).
I'm attaching a patch that adds an option to disable it. The option defaults to

It's already done in git,
I've also been having the same issue for quite some time.
Today I've noticed that I'm also having it on another computer *and*
I've noticed that it seems to be correlated with having rendering issues
with kicad ( https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=838631 ).

Hello,
I reviewed the patches submitted in that bug and I have not found
one worth committing. live-build is in low maintenance mode so
I'm trying to not break compatibility with unnecessary new requirements.
In fact, I believe that the bootstrap_archive-keys step is entirely
useless. We already

Hi Paul,
needrestart tries to detect which daemons (read: processes in the
broadest sense) should be restarted due to upgraded libraries (read:
code to be somehow *executed*). Configuration files etc. are beyond the
scope of needrestart (maybe there should be a
