Now I can't test anymore because of an unrelated problem: I don't seem
to be able to tell simpleopal what audio video devices to use anymore.
Whatever I specify for -s (let's say I wrote -s foo), simpleopal says:

Any news on this bug report? With duplicity taking ages to encode
(on slow processors), I just came back from a trip to find five
instances competing for resources simultaneously. Not good.

I solved the bug by the command:
apt-get --reinstall install $(dpkg -l \*python\* | grep ^ii | awk '{print
$2}')
So just reinstalling all python packages. I think that is a really heavy
bug of python. But I do not know which package of.
