I've also tried the flatpak version of Totem (from FlatHub) that I've
installed and launched from Gnome Software.
I've managed to play the 2 test files without crashes, but only sound
was played, with no video (black screen within Totem).

What is status of gadmin tools in Debian ? Is there any replacement for them ?
Is upstream maintianed ? I think they were good tool for people who did not
know too much internals of config files. Maybe I could help if there is
