I've re-checked the status on xqilla:
It embedds a very old yajl library, (older than 0.4.0), which is not affected
by the mentioned CVE's,
however, it is very likely affected by other problems, for example:

The font should be pulled in, by the package culmus-fancy, through dependency.

As long as the licenses are incompatible, it makes no sense to keep

incompatible licenses, e.g it uses mongoose (GPLv2) which is incompatible to
the used swiften (package swift-im) license (mostly
GPL-3+)
