value for now and after that it finally worked.

I recompiled the versions 9.24, 9.23 and 9.22:

Also take a look into directory /var/lib/apt/lists/partial. There may be left
some files. I had to remove them by hand.
I found there more than 400 files, mainly diff files, but some others as
well.
Is it better to remove them???

anything unusual? E.g., have a local apt repository, use some sort of
apt-proxy software, et al.?
