1:47 AM - 2:04 AM not moving at all so I copied them from overflow spool

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed a large increase in the volume of
SPAM over the last two days?
My poor old server has been nearly overwhelmed during business hours
starting yesterday morning.
It seems to taper off in the evenings after 9:30 - 10:00 eastern time.
