Hi Rick,
I agree - especially given the small number active contributors (I am lurking,
not active). Perhaps check/announce on the user list?

Looks good to me.
Kudos to everyone who worked on this release!

Hi Bryan,
My 2c:
If the current wiki doesn't fulfill the needs, then switching makes sense. Is
converting a lot of work? Are the systems compatible or do we risk having to
fix up a lot of formatting? Is it necessary to convert all current pages?
Perhaps it's possible to refer to legacy pages
As far as the tests at IBM, the historical data was lost with the removal of
the personal public-html space from/of the ASF machine where they lived.
And they're not generated anymore as the tests are no longer running at IBM.
The history is also no longer available at IBM.
We should remove
I saw your question on the user list, but don't have a version of derby in an
eclipse setup handy...
You don't say how familiar you are with eclipse, so some of this may be too
simplistic for you...
So with that caviat here's my 2c: first point eclipse to the Derby souce.

Hi,
I don't think so, at least as far as I know no one discussed setting this up on
the dev or user list. And I think I would have remembered.
I also don't know what the rules are for or against becoming an Apache mirror
site. Maybe infra would know...

In this case, attaching it to the original issue sounds fine to me too.

This is the result of my commit for DERBY-2446, I did not see any response on
my question, and when I followed the links from the testing page I did not see
the compatibility tests listed (probably I was looking in the wrong place) so I
finally went ahead and deleted the juniTests directory,
more complicated? I can help improve
the instructions if you let me know which parts are most confusing.
I think in terms of the documentation (and the process) I noticed several
major themes in my failed attempts to put a release together. I am sorry I
did not take better notes in detail
of 1600x900, and it makes the

Now, that caused some issues when deployed, so I've tried another approach in
rev 846838.
I'd appreciate if you let me know if the fix is causing problems

Hi,
Remember to come - if you can make it - to our Derby bring-your-own lunch,
tomorrow, Oct 3, between 11.30 a.m. and 1 p.m. in our usual atrium location in
San Francisco (101 2nd Street, the big glass atrium at the corner of 2nd and
Mission.)
So far, we've got Rick, Dag, Kathey, Lilly and
tell you whether the 10.8.2.2 plugins work
with 10.9.1.0.
Maybe someone knowledgeable could write a wiki page explaining how to build
the Eclipse plugins.
Hope this helps,
-Rick
The instructions for building the plugins are in a read me file at the top of
the plugin directory underneath
I have often wondered if it would make sense to move the netservlet to the
demos. Seems a better place for it since the functionality is somewhat
limited...
