I had the same problem, 'send/receive' permanently faded-out and unable to
access mail, but other access (web, updates etc) all working fine. However
following hint above, I found the 'work-online' entry in File menu, clicked on
it and now everything works fine again.

I tried fedora 9 and indeed the brightness keys work, but not correctly!
(No dim on idle etc). It worked on ubuntu this way during hardy's
alpha's (stopped working somewhere around alpha 6/beta). For this to

I've got the same problem.
This are the things I did that caused it:
-On mistake, I moved the Inbox folder to some other folder.
-I didn't realize it, and when I saw it had dissapeared, I closed evolution and
opened it again. I had my Inbox as a child of other folder, and another (empty)
inbox
I'll need some help getting this to the right group but it seems there
is a larger problem here.
People have reported a bug or feature in that Nautilus was not
preserving timestamps, in particular, the file modification date, when
doing file copies. I see the comments that this has been fixed
I have also the same problems. Very anoying!
Nautilus does not display the windows shares when opening the workgroup.
Typing smb://servername/sharename in ubuntu works, also mounting is no problem.
Is there a solution for this problem?

I have this issue on a current Hardy machine (32bit, supported upgrades
only). But not in such a drastic manner. I think because i'm using only
1 panel. I flagged this bug as Confirmed, therefore. I don't know how
to get a valgrind log, though, because when i kill gnome-panel it

the bug is not really an important one, it's just that the people who
wrote the parser didn't consider that some users or software would edit
the bookmark in a non defined way, not sure why you had those changes
but that's not something an update would do since the update doesn't

played the audio for a couple of seconds and then freezes up ubuntu,
which then requires a hard reboot. With the youtube plugin disabled it
works

display the desktop using the show desktop applet? do you get the same
issue minimizing the dialogs?

The issue is due to gvfs and dbus, you can workaround it using dbus-
launch to run nautilus
