Can someone provide a reference PDF showing this issue, to use in the

I successfully completed all 3 test cases with gnome-shell 44.1-0ubuntu1
on Ubuntu 23.04.
One GNOME Shell extension, workrave, does not work but it also does not
work with the original gnome-shell (44.0-2ubuntu3) for Ubuntu 23.04. I
suspect this was broken between 44 Beta (where it did work) and
I reviewed the bug and the bugfix again today. With gnome-shell
44.0-2ubuntu3 on Ubuntu 23.04, when I do the test case, the journal
shows a STACK TRACE. Eventually a crash report shows in /var/crash/ and
I get an apport popup informing me of the crash and asking if I want to
report the issue.
For me, disabling the legacy app icons extension and rebooting fixed it.
I was able to install Anydesk again without issue. Of course, my Anydesk
tray icon is not showing with the extension disabled...

Hey Mike. While I understand that the issue is annoying there is always
risk in doing change to a library of the base system as libglib and
difficult to verify that there are not side effect of any of the
software using it. If there is no real user visible impact the benefit
is probably not worth
