I have the same problem event to the extent that when I want to save a
copy of the document I can't enter the new filename via keyboard and I
have to copy-paste (with mouse) the filename into save dialog box.

I have this issue on 12.04 (upgrade from 11.10). I can't shutdown or
restart via cog menu (it simply directs to lightdm login screen). I have

Sorry for the previous and rude comment. I'm not usually resorting to

I'm reopening this bug. Totem (2.26.0-0ubuntu) displays MicroDVD

I had similar experience when upgrading from intrepid to jaunty. Totem
plays in slow motion and besides the quicktime plugin stopped working.
After complete removing and then reinstalling them in synaptic they
started to work again.
